Six Executive Members of CADC resigned; two accepted

Kamalanagar, October 5, 2018: Dg Shanti Jiban Chakma, Chief Executive Member, Chakma Autonomous District Council accepted the resignation of two Executive Members namely Dg. Buban Kumar Chakma and Dg. Hiranand Tongchangya who along with four other Executive Members tendered their resignation to the CEM on 3rd October 2018.

The other Executive Members who have tendered resignation are Dg. Onish Moy Chakma, Dg. Mohan Chakma, Dg. Anil Kanti Chakma and Dg. Sanjeev Chakma. Their resignations were not accepted and a notification has been issued to continue with their offices as Executive Member.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 30 of Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution & Conduct of Business etc.) Rules, 2002, and in partial modification of the notification issued Vide No.A.12011/1/EC/2018-19/CADC (G): dt. 17/05/2018 portfolios among the members of the Executive Committee of the 10th Chakma Autonomous District Council are allocated as shown below with immediate effect.

Entering into agreement with firms, agencies etc.

NOTIFICATION

Aizawl, the 26th September, 2018

It has been learnt that the officials of the Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) do not acquaint themselves with the terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) while entering into an agreement with firms agencies etc., thereby inviting unnecessary complications later.

Henceforth, all the ADCs of Lai, Mara and Chakma should obtain prior approval of the Administrative Department i.e. DC&MA Department before entering into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with any firms, agencies etc. in future.

CIRCULAR

Dated Kamalanagar, the 29th August, 2018

It is for general information to all concerned that the following documents, Voter ID Card or Aadhar Card should be produced before the Liaison Officer / Receptionist at the time of Checking in the respective CADC Rest Houses as Identity proof.

And, no guest shall be allowed / entertained to check in the respective CADC Rest Houses without above mentioned documents.

Appointment of Shri D. Janjil Chakma as President, DSEB

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Rule 2 of Rule 15 the Chakma Autonomous District Council (District School Education Board) Rules 2002, the Executive Committee of Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to appoint Shri D. Janjil Chakma s/o Shri (L) Parthajit Chakma as president of the District Education Board(DSEB) for a period of three years with immediate effect.

The President, DSEB will be entitled to salary/TA/DA and all other facilities as Executive Member of the Chakma Autonomous District Council.

The expenditure for salary/TA/DA shall be borne under Non-Plan salary head.

Kamalanagar, May 21, 2018: The CADC Budget for the fiscal year 2018-19 for an amount of Rs.86.5916 Crores which was tabled on May 17, was discussed and passed today by 17 Members voting in favour while one Member (of the MNF party) voting against.

Kamalanagar, May 16, 2018: The eight member Executive Committee of the newly elected 10th Chakma Autonomous District Council has been formed today with Dg. Anil Kanti Chakma, MDC, 4-Bajeisora, Dg. Hiranand Tongchangya, MDC, 16-Damdep, Dgb. Kusum Lota Chakma, MDC, 2-Borapansury-II, Dg. Sanjeev Chakma, MDC, 7-Kamalanagar ā€˜Wā€™, Dg. Mohan Chakma, MDC, 20-Parva, Dg. Buban Kumar Chakma, MDC, 19-Devasora ā€˜Sā€™ and Dg. Onish Moy Chakma, MDC, 10-Mondirasora. Subjects and departments are yet to be allotted to the newly sworn-in Executive Members.

Shanti Jiban Chakma as the new Chief Executive Member. Dg. Shanti Jiban Chakma has won from the 3-Chhotapansury MDC Constituency with BJP ticket.
