Training and sensitisation programme on filling-up of SIR Enumeration Forms conducted at Kamalanagar

Kamalanagar, 9 June, 2026: A training and sensitisation programme on the filling-up of Enumeration Forms in connection with the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 was conducted today at the Conference Hall of the Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar. The programme was chaired by Shri Pronit Bikash Chakma, Executive Secretary, CADC.

The programme was organised in compliance with a communication received from the District Election Officer, Lawngtlai, with the objective of familiarising Gazetted Officers of CADC with the procedures and requirements relating to the filling-up of Enumeration Forms under SIR-2026.

All Gazetted Officers under CADC attended the programme. During the session, the resource persons, namely, Shri Kulendra Bikash Chakma, Information & Public Relations Officer, CADC and Assistant Nodal Officer; Shri Samar Bijoy Chakma, Assistant; Shri Vanlalkima, LDC; and H. Lalhmingtluangi, LDC from the SDO Office, Chawngte explained the purpose of the Special Intensive Revision exercise, the importance of accurate and timely submission of Enumeration Forms, and the procedures to be followed while filling up the forms.

The participants were also provided with an opportunity to seek clarifications on issues relating to the revision process.

Training cum sensitization programme on filling-up of Enumeration Forms SIR 2026 for all Gazetted Officers under CADC

In pursuance of Training Notice received vide No.H.12012/6/2026-DC/ELN(LTI), Dt. 05/06/2026 from the District Election Officer, Lawngtlai, a training/sensitization on filling-up of Enumeration Forms (EFs) in connection with SIR-2026 for all Gazetted Officers under CADC is scheduled to be held on 09.06.2026 at 11:00 AM at CADC Conference Hall.

In this connection all Gazetted Officers of Chakma Autonomous District Council are informed to attend the said training/sensitization programme positively.

Promotion of Sesame, Arhar and Sunflower cultivation in identified areas of CADC

The Agriculture Department, Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) has identified and selected three clusters for the promotion of sesame, arhar and sunflower cultivation within the CADC area.

Interested farmers willing to cultivate arhar and sesame in the abovementioned locations are requested to collect seeds from the office during office hours or contact the undersigned for further assistance within 7 (seven) days from the date of issuance of this notification.

Procurement and Distribution of Coconut and Arecanut Seedlings: Opening of sealed quotations on 8 June 2026

5th June 2026: In continuation to the Notice Inviting Sealed Quotation vide Memo No.G.28012/20/2026-HORTI/CADC dated 20th May, 2026 and Memo.No.G.28012/21/2026-HORTI/CADC dated 20th May, 2026 & Memo.No. G.28012/21/2026-HORTI/CADC dated 1st June, 2026 for the scheme “Procurement and Distribution of Coconut Seedlings” & “Purchase and Distribution of Arecanut Seedlings” under Horticulture Department, CADC, it is hereby notified for information to all concerned that the opening of sealed quotation, which
was postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, is now rescheduled to take place on 08/06/2026 at 1:30 PM in the Office chamber of District Council Horticulture Officer, CADC, Kamalanagar.

Quotationers / Tenderers or their authorized representatives may remain present during
the opening of the sealed quotations if possible.


Notice of Postponement: Procurement and Distribution of Coconut and Arecanut Seedlings

1st June 2026: In continuation to the Notice Inviting Sealed Quotation vide Memo No. G.28012/20/2026-HORTI/CADC/ dated 20th May, 2026 & Memo No. G.28012/21/2026-HORTI/CADC dated 20th May, 2026 for the “Procurement & distribution of Coconut Seedlings (Tall Variety)” & “Purchase & Distribution of Arecanut Seedlings” respectively under the Horticulture Department, CADC, it is hereby notified for information to all concerned that the opening of sealed quotations scheduled to take place today, i.e. 1s” June, 2026 at 1:30 PM, is hereby postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances.

The revised date and time for the opening of the sealed quotations will be notified
separately in due course. Any inconvenience caused to the tenderers or their representatives is
highly regretted.

Allocation of the CADC (Money Lending & Control) Regulations, 2016 to the Finance & Accounts Department

The Chakma Autonomous District Council, in exercise of powers conferred under Rule 3 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Allocation of Business) Rules, 2009, hereby notifies the formal allocation of the subject “the CADC (Money Lending & Control) Regulations, 2016” to the Finance & Accounts Department, Chakma Autonomous District Council. The subject is formally incorporated and placed at Sl. No. 15 under the schedule of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Allocation of Business) Rules, 2009.

Notification for the Adoption of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026

The General Administration & Control Department, Chakma Autonomous District Council, in pursuance of L/No.A.48012/6/2026-DC(LTI) dated 11/05/2026 , and in strict compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India , hereby notifies the adoption of “The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026” as prescribed by the Government of India. This notification is issued with the formal approval of the Deputy Commissioner, Lawngtlai, accorded on 21/05/2026.

The implementation framework is governed by the following directives:

  • Statutory Compliance: Full adoption of “The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026” across the Chakma Autonomous District Council to ensure regulated solid waste practices.
  • Immediate Enforcement: The aforementioned regulatory rules shall come into force throughout the jurisdiction with immediate effect.
  • Information Dissemination: The Information & Public Relations Officer (I&PRO) is directed to publish this notice on the official CADC website for public access and compliance.

Notification: Invitating Applications for the Construction of PCC Pavement Road at Nalbanya

The Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Chakma Autonomous District Council, in pursuance of the administrative approval accorded vide letter No.G.25011/10/2026-2027/FIN/CADC/ dated Kamalanagar, the 8th May 2026, and subject to the approval of the Deputy Commissioner, Lawngtlai & Caretaker of CADC dated 18/05/2026, hereby invites applications for the execution of public works.

The procurement and execution process will adhere to the following key points:

  • Scope of Work: Construction of PCC Pavement Road at Nalbanya (From WRC site area of Subal Chakma to the Hill top near Huzee Mawnaw Vihar).
  • Estimated Cost: Rs. 5,00,000.00 (Rupees five lakh) only, funded out of the Local Receipt Fund during the year 2026-2027.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Open strictly to financially eligible local Contractors within the Chakma Autonomous District Council.
  • Required Documentation: Applications must be submitted on plain paper accompanied by the following mandatory documents:
    1. House Tax Payee Certificate (HTPC).
    2. Bank Account Statement covering at least the preceding six months.
    3. Valid Voter ID.
    4. Aadhaar Card.
    5. Financial Soundness Certificate.

All applications must reach the office of the undersigned within seven days from the date of issue of the notice, with the final date for receipt fixed on 26th May 2026 for strict compliance.
