The result of the CADC Science Talent Search Examination 2024 for students of Class VII & VIII Conducted by District School Education Board, Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar on July 29th, 2024 is hereby officially declared and published for Public information.
Kamalanagar, 29 July, 2024: A total number of 50 candidates, including 19 girls and 31 boys, appeared in the first CADC Science Talent Search Examination, 2024, held today at Kamalanagar Public School. The exam was conducted by the District School Education Board (DSEB), and is open to students of class VII & VIII from Schools affiliated to the board. Each school had the opportunity to select 5 (five) students to compete in the examination.
The examination tested the students on areas such as Science (40 marks), Mathematics (40 marks) and Critical Thinking (20 marks). All the top 10 performers will be awarded with a certificate of merit and cash prizes. The top three ranked candidates will receive cash prizes of Rs. 20,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively while rest of the candidates will each receive cash prize of Rs.3,500. However, candidates must score at least 60% and above to be eligible for the prizes.
The CADC Science Talent Search Exam has been initiated to identify and nurture talented students in the Science subject and to instill in them the spirit of healthy competition. The date for result declaration is expected to be announced within a week.
Kamalanagar, 02 July, 2024: A solemn condolence meeting was held today at the CADC Secretariat Office in honor of late Dg. Jayan Chakma, Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, CADC, who passed away early this morning. The meeting was conducted by Dg. Montu Chakma, Executive Member and in-charge Chief Executive Member, and was attended by the Councilors and officials of CADC.
Late Dg. Jayan Chakma was born on January 1, 1968, and joined the CADC as a Cultural Assistant on September 17, 1987. He was eventually promoted to the post of Executive Engineer in the Public Works Department (PWD).
The eulogy of the departed Executive Engineer was read by Dg. Montu Chakma, highlighting his invaluable contributions to the CADC through the Public Works Department and his efforts in the development of the Chakma language, scripts and the preservation of the Chakma culture.
Dg. Jayan Chakma passed away due to liver cirrhosis at 2:40 AM on July 2, 2024, at the age of 56 years.
A silent prayer was observed for the peace of the departed soul.
This is for general information that the previous notification vide No.86/CSTE/DSEB/2024-2025/212/15 dated the 20th May, 2024 is hereby stand cancelled. However, a fresh notification is hereby issued in this regard with some changes as given below.

NOTIFICATION
The District School Education Board (DEB) is pleased to announce that its going to conduct Science Talent Examination with the name CADC Science Talent Search Examination-2024. The examination aims to identify, encourage and test the young students with an aptitude for science and mathematics and instill scientific temper among them.
Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in DEB affiliated Middle Schools. Maximum of 5 (five) students shall be allowed to participate from each school Syllabus: Syllabus for the examination will cover topics based on the academic textbooks of Science and Mathematics with the addition of Critical Thinking. The weightage of subject shall be as follows-

Awards and Recognition: Top performers will receive a certificate of Merit with a cash prize of:
Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) for 1st Prize

Rs. 10,000 /- (Rupees ten thousand only) for 3rd Prize.
Application Process: Interested students should submit their application form through their respective schools. Application form can be availed from the DEB office from Monday, 3rd June 2024 onwards. The date and venue of the Examination shall be declared in a separate notification in a later date. We encourage all DEB affiliated schools to participate and facilitate their students to showcase their scientific talents through this examination.

Results of the Primary and Middle School Common Examination 2023-2024 published by District School Education Board, CADC.
This is for general information that the results of the Common Question Examination 2023 – 2024 of both Class-IV & VIII respectively conducted by the District School Education Board, Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar held in the month of January 29, 2024 is hereby declared and published in details.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Rule 1 & 2 of Rule 15 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (District School Education Board) Rules, 2002, the Executive Committee of Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to appoint Shri Anand Kumar Chakma, S/o Shri Nogendra Chakma of Devasora North as President of the District School Education Board (DEB), Chakma Autonomous District Council for a period of 3 (three) years with immediate effect.
In the interest of public service, the Executive Committee of Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to transfer the services of Shri Ashman Chakma, MST presently attached to DSEB to general services and shall hold the post of the Controller of Examination in the level 10 of pay matrix which he is already enjoying plus all other allowances as admissible under rules from time to time with immediate effect.
This is to notify to all concerned that the District School Education Board, Chakma Autonomous District Council has decided to issue Admit Card from 8th January to 15th January, 2024 both for PSCE & MSCE candidates who are going to appear in the Common Examination. 2024.
Therefore, all Heads of Institutions are informed to collect the Admit Cards of their respective School from the office of DEB during office hours as per the dates mentioned above.
