In order to facilitate the smooth return of persons currently stranded outside Mizoram, a Standard Operating Procedure for Returnrn of Permanent Residents of Mizoram Stranded Outside the State due to COVID-19 Lockdown, as appended herewith, is hereby circulated for information and guidance of all concerned.

Whereas, the countrywide lockdown due to Covid-19 continues to be extended and situation returning to normalcy immediately seems unlikely.
The Chakma Autonomous District Council felt it expedient to list the Chakma students from Mizoram stranded in different parts of the country due to the lockdown so that in case of emergency help extended by state government or central government can be facilitated.
Therefore, I am directed to ask all such Students who are stranded outside the state of Mizoram to report themselves in the link https://forms.gle/xnigfGm7F8iY3gpu6 at the earliest.

To contain and prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the State of Mizoram and matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
WHEREAS the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram is not in session, and the Governor of Mizoram is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 213 of the Constitution, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to promulgate the following Ordinance,

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the government of Mizoram has decided to bring back people of Mizoram stranded in different north-eastern states of India due to Covid-19 and to facilitate in this endeavour Chakma Autonomous District Council has undertook the exercise to list such Chakma people from Mizoram willing to return home.
In the exercise so undertaken 281 people have reported being stranded and willing to return home and the list was subsequently submitted to government of Mizoram for further necessary action.
The government of Mizoram in a reply letter requested that all such people (stranded in different states outside Mizoram) report in the portal – tangkhang.mizoram.gov.in – launched by it.
Therefore, I am directed to inform that all such stranded people (irrespective of whether one intends to return or not) including those who have earlier reported in the link https://forms.gle/gW48BtUDWUVo7fB68 need to report in the portal www.tangkhang.mizoram.gov.in as desired by the government of Mizoram.

The Chairman of CADC has notified that the Budget Session of Chakma Autonomous District Council shall commence from 3rd April (Friday) 2020 at 10.30 A.M.
All Business both Official and Non-official meant for the Budget Session may be submitted to the Chairman, CADC during office hours on or before 16th March, 2020.
