Notification: CADC Monsoon Session

The Chairman, Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to summon the Members of the 10th Chakma Autonomous District Council to sit for the Monsoon Session, 2021 to be commenced from 4th October (Monday), 2021 at 10:30 A.M. in the Session Hall of the Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar.

All business, official and non-official admitted earlier shall be taken up without admitting any fresh business thereby.

ORDER

Whereas the Mizoram State Disaster Management Authority has issued an order for the imposition of ‘Total Lockdown’ in Aizawl Municipal Corporation area, and other restrictions based on assessment in other areas of Mizoram by the concerned Deputy Commissioners vide Order of even No dated 16.O7.2O21;

And whereas mass testing has been conducted extensively and current COVID-19 positive detection rate is extremely high; it is felt necessary to continue with the current restriction for prevention of further spread of COVID-19, and to facilitate smooth conduct of the ongoing mass testing by Health & Family Welfare Department.

Therefore, the undersigned in his capacity as Chairman, State Executive Committee of the Mizoram State Disaster Management Authority hereby orders that measures imposed vide Order of even No. dated
16.07.2O21 shall continue to be implemented till midnight of O7.O8.2O21,

It is noticed that there is an irrational split of functions between Executive Duty and VLTF compounded by widespread overlapping of responsibilities, which has created some degree of uncertainty for all parties concerned and has also diminished the response mechanism to a large extent.

In view of the above, all officials detailed for COVID-19 Executive Duty are hereby relieved from their posts with immediate effect and until further notice.

ORDER

In partial modification of earlier order no. F.11011/14/2021-SDO(C)/CWTE: dated Chawngte the 31st May 2021, it is hereby notified that all officials engaged for COVID_19-Executive Duty must discharge their responsibilities with effect from 10:00 AM of 2nd June, 2021.

FUNCTIONS OF EXECUTIVE DUTY

  1. Compliance with directions/regulations/measures laid down by the State Government/district authorities and ensure the effective implementation of those plans.
  2. Adoption of appropriate steps to deal with untoward incidents.
  3. Monitoring of civilian movement.
  4. Imposition of fines on offenders.
  5. Coordination with VLTF/local police as the situation demands.

Intentional abandonment of duty will be viewed seriously and treated as such. However, if for any reason a person is in no condition to attend to his/her duties, he/she must communicate it to the undersigned at the earliest. Duty report must reach this office via Ph. no. 7628878001 at the end of each shift.

The heads of departments should bring the content of this order to the notice of all the concerned immediately for necessary action.
