Kamalanagar, 15 December 2023: Dg. Kali Kumar Tongchangya, the Chairman of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC), tendered his resignation today, the 15^th of December, 2023.

In his resignation letter addressed to the Governor of Mizoram, Dg. Kali Kumar Tongchangya stated that he resigned from the office of the Chairman of the 11^th Chakma Autonomous District Council in accordance with Sub-Rule (b) of Rule 16 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business, etc.) Rules, 2002.
