CADC bought medicine worth Rs.2.50 Lakhs for the Covid Care Centres, Kamalanagar

Kamalanagar, 02 July, 2021:Β Chakma Autonomous District Council has bought medicine worth Rs.2.50 Lakhs for the Covid Care Centres and Community Covid Care Centres set up in Kamalanagar town area. The cost has been met out of CEM Relief Fund.

Poor covid patients who otherwise have to arrange their own medicine lodged in the CCCs will get free supply of medicine.

Pu Robert Romawia Royte, Minister of State, Mizoram donated two Oxygen Concentrators for the CCCs which were received by the CEM, CADC Dg. Durjya Dhan Chakma during his recent tour to Aizawl. He also donated Rs.20,000 to CADC CEM Relief Fund constituted especially as a response to the Covid Pandemic situation in CADC.

The CEM also received 100 set of PPE suits, 50 bottles of sanitizers, 200 masks and 400 set of gloves from Dr. R. Lalthangliana, Health Minister for the CCCs which were handed over to the SMO, Chawngte today.
