Chairman, CADC
The Chairman of the Chakma Autonomous District Council presides over the sessions in the CADC. He moderates debates on the floor of the house and makes rulings on procedure. He also conducts and announces the results of votes on the debates on the floor of the house. He normally does not vote in the house, except in the event of a tie. He is elected from among the councillors by the house and plays a non-partisan role in the house.
