ORDER

Whereas the Mizoram State Disaster Management Authority has issued an order for the imposition of ‘Total Lockdown’ in Aizawl Municipal Corporation area, and other restrictions based on assessment in other areas of Mizoram by the concerned Deputy Commissioners vide Order of even No dated 16.07.2021;

And whereas mass testing has been conducted extensively and current COVID-19 positive detection rate is extremely high; it is felt necessary to continue with the current restriction for prevention of further spread of COVID-19, and to facilitate smooth conduct of the ongoing mass testing by Health & Family Welfare Department.

Therefore, the undersigned in his capacity as Chairman, State Executive Committee of the Mizoram State Disaster Management Authority hereby orders that measures imposed vide Order of even No. dated
16.07.2021 shall continue to be implemented till midnight of 31.07.2021,
