In exercise of the provisions under Rule 33(4) of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution and Conduct of Business, etc.) Rules, 2002 and as amended from time to time, Dangu Kali Kumar Tongchangya, Chairman, Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to summon the Members of the 11th Chakma Autonomous District Council to sit for Winter Session, 2023 to be commenced from 15th December, 2023 (Friday) at 10:30 A.M. in the Session Hall of Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar.
All Business both Official and Non-official meant for the Winter Session 2023 may be submitted to the undersigned during office hours on or before 1st December, 2023 (Friday).

As per the notification issued by the Government of Mizoram, 7th November 2023 (Polling Day for General Election to Mizoram Legislative Assembly) has been declared a Paid Holiday to enable the voters to exercise their franchise.
The offices and educational institutions under CADC shall remain closed on 12th October 2023 as a mark of respect and mourning for Dg. Buddha Lila Chakma, former Chief Executive Member, CADC who passed away on 10th October 2023.

In pursuance of the letter received from Deputy Commissioner Lawngtlai vide letter No.H.14015/22/2019-dc/ELN(LTI)/136 : dt. 07/10/2023 that Assessment & Certification camp of PwDs in respect of 36-Tuichawng A/C shall be organised by Social Welfare and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Mizoram in the place and date and time mentioned below.

Therefore Booth Level Officers under 36-Tuichawng (ST) A/C and village council presidents under Chawngte Civil Sub-Division are requested to ascertain PwDs voters in their respective jurisdiction and guide them to attend the above programme without fail.
Mandatory required documents for such PwDs are as follows:
Clear recent passport size photos – 2 copies
Aadhaar Card Xerox – 1 copy
Proof of address (Family Ration Card/Voter ID)

The executive committee of CADC is pleased to invite bids in a sealed envelope for public auction to lease out the CADC Brick kiln located at Udalthana for the year 2023-24. Interested persons are invited to take part in the auction to be held on 18th October 2023 at 12:00 noon in the office chamber of the District Industry Officer, Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar, Mizoram.
In accordance with Section 9, Section 39, Section 40 and Section 48 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 and the Indian Forest Act, 1927 as amended from time to time, sale of all forms of wild animals including their parts and derivatives is completely banned within the jurisdiction of the Chakma Forest Division with immediate effect.
