DSEB Notification: Common Question Examination 2026-27 cancelled, to commence from 2027-28

DSEB hereby notifies that the proposal for conducting Common Question Examinations for Classes III, V, VI and VII from the Academic Session 2026-2027 could not be materialised. And as per the direction of the Middle School Education Department, CADC, vide Letter No. A.45011/02/2026-CDC(MSED)/52 dated 18th August, 2026, and pursuant to the approval of the Executive Committee, CADC, in its 20th Meeting held on 10th and 11th August, 2026, it has been decided that the proposed Common Question Examination for Classes III, V, VI and VII shall be conducted from the Academic Session 2027-2028 onwards.

Dg. Durjya Dhan Chakma appointed as Vice Chairman of Planning & Development Board

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub rule (4) of Rule 3 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution
of Planning and Development Board) Rules, 2024, the Governor of Mizoram, on the recommendation of the Chief Executive Member of the Chakma Autonomous District Council, is pleased to appoint Shri Durjya Dhan Chakma as Vice Chairman of the Planning and Development Board of the Chakma Autonomous District Council with effect from 19.08.2026 i.e. from
the date of approval of the Governor.

Notification: Selection of beneficiaries under old age pension

The Executive Committee of Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to accord a sanction for enlistment and selection of 242 ( Two hundred forty-two ) nos. of new beneficiaries residing within jurisdiction of CADC for payment of old aged pension.

The selection has been finalized after due verification of old age proofs undertaken by the officials of Social Welfare Department for these who have attained 60 years as shown in โ€œ ANNEXURE”.

    Issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) to CADC Employees for rendering voluntary work in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOS)

    In pursuance of the decision taken by the Executive Committee of the Chakma Autonomous District Council, in its 20th Meeting held on 10th and 11th August, 2026, the following standard guidelines are hereby issued for strict compliance by all concerned pertaining to issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) to CADC employees intending to render voluntary services in recognized Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs):-

    1. The employee(s) concerned shall apply in writing to the Executive Secretary seeking No Objection Certificate (NOะก).
    2. The voluntary work shall be performed strictly outside office hours and shall not interfere with the official duties and responsibilities of the employee(s).
    3. The employee(s) shall not accept any remuneration or financial benefit from the the organisation for such voluntary service.
    4. The nature of work in the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) shall not be in conflict with the interest of CADC.
    5. The NGO shall be of Non-political, charitable, social, cultural or educational in nature.
    6. The employee(s) shall not use his official position r resources for the benefit of the organisation.
    7. The employee(s) shall maintain absolute integrity and devotion to duty as per Rule 3 of the CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964 and shall not bring disrepute to Government.
    8. The No Objection Certificate shall be valid for a period of 1 (one) year from the date of issue and is liable to be withdrawn if any of the above conditions are violated. The NOC shall be issued with the approval of the competent authority.

    Approval of Price Support Scheme (PSS) and exemption from mandi Tax/Levy for Arhar, Sesame and Sunflower during Kharif 2026 in CADC.

    In pursuance of the letter received from the Government of Mizoram, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Department, and in exercise of powers conferred under the provisions of Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India, the Executive Committee of Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) is pleased to accord approval for implementation of PSS procurement operations for Arhar,
    Sesame and Sunflower within the CADC area during Kharif 2026-2027.

    Consequently, the Executive Committee of Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to notify the exemption of all PSS related activities including procurement, collection, weighing, storage, transportation & other logistics activities from market/mandi fees, cess, taxes & levies within the CADC area.

    CADC Emergency Session 2026 to commence from 20 August 2026

    As provided under Sub-Rule (4) of Rule 33 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business, etc.) Rules, 2002 and as amended from time to time, the Chairman, Chakma Autonomous District Council is pleased to summon the Members of the 11th Chakma Autonomous District Council to sit for the Emergency Session 2026 to be commenced from 20th August (Thursday) 2026 at 10.30 A.M. in the Session Hall of Chakma Autonomous District Council, Kamalanagar.

    All Businesses both Official and Non-official meant for the Emergency Session 2026 may be submitted to the undersigned during office hours on or before 12th August, 2026 (Wednesday).
