Kamalanagar, 14 July, 2026: A six-member delegation of the Chakma District Council Pensioners’ Association, headed by its President, Shri Hriday Chakma, called on Shri Nirupam Chakma, Hon’ble Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC), today at his office chamber in the CADC Secretariat, Kamalanagar.

During the meeting, the delegation brought to the notice of the Hon’ble CEM that the pensioners have not received their monthly pension for four months, from December 2025 to March 2026. The Association requested the Hon’ble CEM to take necessary steps for the early release of the pending pension.

Responding to the issues raised by the delegation, the Hon’ble CEM acknowledged their concerns and stated that the matter would be looked into and that appropriate steps would be taken.
