The Chairman and Deputy Chairman are elected by the house through majority vote while the Deputy Chief Whip is nominated by the Executive to carry out its business in the legislature.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cadc.gov.in\/wp-content\/plugins\/beaver-builder-lite-version\/img\/pixel.png\" alt=\"\" itemprop=\"image\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<h3>Chairman, CADC<\/h3>\n<p>The Chairman presides over the legislature in the CADC. He moderates debates on the floor of the house and makes rulings on procedure. He also conducts and announces the results of votes on the debates on the floor of the house. He normally does not\u00a0vote in the house, except in the event of a tie. He is elected from among the councillors by the house and plays a non-partisan role in the house.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cadc.gov.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/mohesh_boran-e1549365590743.jpg\" alt=\"Mohesh Boran Chakma\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"210\" width=\"180\" title=\"Mohesh Boran Chakma\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t<strong>Mohesh Boran Chakma <\/strong><br \/>Deputy Chairman\n\t<h3>Deputy Chairman, CADC<\/h3>\n<p>The Deputy Chairman performs the functions of the Chairman in the absence of the Chairman. In the Chairman&#8217;s absence, he chairs the session on legislature and is entrusted with all the powers and functions thereof. He is also elected from among the councillors by the house.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cadc.gov.in\/wp-content\/plugins\/beaver-builder-lite-version\/img\/pixel.png\" alt=\"\" itemprop=\"image\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<strong><u>CURRENTLY<br \/>\nVACANT<\/u><\/strong>\n\t<h3>Deputy Chief Whip, CADC<\/h3>\n<p>The Deputy Chief Whip primarily ensures cohesion between the executive and legislative branches of Chakma Autonomous District Council. He ensures the passage of the Executive Committee&#8217;s business in the legislature.
