The Act provides the citizens, the right to access information held by Public Authorities.<\/p>\n<p>To carry out the provision of the RTI Act, 2005 as mandated under section 28 of the Act, Chakma Autonomous District Council enacted its own RTI rule \u201cChakma Autonomous District Council Right to Information Rule, 2006\u201d on May 14, 2009.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cadc.gov.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/acts-rules\/CADC-RTI-RULES-2006.pdf\" download=\"CADC RTI Rules 2006.pdf\" >Download<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"page-info\">As per notification issued vide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadc.gov.in\/2018\/08\/temporary-non-availability-of-rti-through-electronic-means\/\">No.F\/12011\/1\/2018\/CADC(RTI)<\/a> dated Kamalanagar, 29<sup>th<\/sup> August, 2018, RTI applications shall not be accepted through electronic means for the time being, owing to non-reliability of internet connectivity at Kamalanagar.
