CADC Congress Leaders Meets Chief Minister, Mizoram

Aizawl, January 09, 2017: Dg. Kali Kumar Tongchangya, CEM, CADC who is in Aizawl in connection with office works expressed great satisfaction over their meeting with Chief Minister, Pu Lal Thanhawla while talking to Sawjak over telephone. The delegation included Dr. B. D. Chakma, MOS, Dg. Kali Kumar Tongchangya, CEM, CADC, Dg. Dayal Chandra Chakma, Chairman, CADC, Dg. Pulin Bayan Chakma, Adviser to CEM and Dg. Gyana Shankar Chakma, Vice-Chairman Planning.

Representation for meeting salary deficits of the employees of CADC have been submitted and very positive response was received as told by the CEM. There is a deficit of salary for a month carried over from the last financial year. In addition fund to the tune of Rs.2 Crore was sought as additional in the current financial year to complete various pending works. The Chief Minister talked to his Finance Minister in their presence over telephone and arranged a meeting with them to look into the matter.
Loan of Rs.20 Crore from HUDCO for the employees of CADC has received Cabinet approval, the CEM informed.
The need for banking services at Longpuighat and Borapansury was raised with the Chief Minister and for setting up of branches of Mizoram Rural Bank at Borapansury and Longpuighat the Chief Minister talked with his Principal Secretary in their presence and instructed him to pursue the matter.
CADC Student Hostel at Aizawl which was retained and approved by DONER is being awaited for approval of the State Empowerment Committee for financial sanction. The issue has been raised with the Chief Minister and accordingly CM instructed his Principal Secretary to pursue the matter.
